The International Conference on Renewable Energy Technologies (CITER), in Teresina (Piauí, Brazil), seeks the dissemination of knowledge and exchange of experiences in renewable energy. Miguel Macias Sequeira was an invited speaker for the panel "Public Policies and Governance in the Energy Transition" where he participated remotely. In this panel, the challenges and opportunities of public policies and governance were discussed amid the transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, highlighting the importance of the role of government and society in this process, with inputs from the context of Brasil, Portugal, and Colombia.
