Next week, we will participare in an international multi-event at the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences IETCC CSIC, called: “Challenges in housing in the 21st Century: technical and social training in the face of the Climate Emergency and Energy Vulnerability”, with experts from Mexico, Bolivia, Portugal and Spain, in three independent Conferences:



  • June 24 and 25: Energy Poverty Training Conference: International Panorama, Analysis cases and lessons learned. In these days, event of the international I-COOP VEnUS project, financed by CSIC. The implications of Climate Change on the social and health dimensions for the population will be addressed; perspectives on the effect of Climate Change on energy vulnerability, and its consequences, illustrated through study examples, by international experts. We finished the day with a Workshop on PE, AI and Storytelling. On Tuesday, the European panorama of public policies to address energy poverty is explored, with international examples of energy vulnerability on the ground. The speakers present the multiple facets that address energy vulnerability and poverty, the ways of doing things, and the lessons learned.

  • June 26: Conference on Architectural and Technical Solutions for Urban Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience against Climate Change, an event that is part of the international project LINCGLOBAL VIbRA-IS, financed by the CSIC. After an institutional presentation of the international CSIC programs, and the presentation of the VIbRA-IS project, the day deals with bioclimatic, naturalized, and technological solutions as well as the efficient use of water and energy, essential today in the fight against Climate Change. and adaptation of the built environment.

  • June 27 and 28: Inauguration of the 4th. Edition of the Architecture and Daily Life Forum in Mexico: Madrid chapter: Challenges of the 21st Century, participation of international keynote speakers from Portugal, Mexico, Bolivia and Spain in subtopics of Health and comfort, environmental sustainability and city construction. Simultaneous tables of international presentations in the blocks of health and comfort, environmental sustainability, and city construction.
    On Friday, it will be the turn of keynote conferences and presentations on technology and heritage, by researchers from Mexico. Closing of the IPN (Mexico) and CSIC (Spain) institutional conference, and visit to the facilities of the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences IETCC CSIC, by Juan Queipo.
