After 33 months of work across Spain, Portugal, and Italy, LIFE HORIS is reaching its final milestone.

We invite you to join us on May 20, 2026, in Brussels for the project's closing event, where we'll share what we built, what we learned, and what comes next.

HORIS set out to make home renovation simpler for citizens by integrating digital One-Stop-Shops into national consumer organisations, breaking down legal and financial barriers, and connecting homeowners with quality-assured renovation professionals.

Targeting three countries, three hashtag#OSS platforms were developed.

The event will bring together the actors behind the project for a morning of reflections and forward-looking discussion:

• How did the HORIS model perform in practice?


• What business models can sustain OSS beyond EU funding?


• How do these tools connect to the revised hashtag#EPBD and Europe's renovation wave?


• What role can digitalisation and smart city data play in accelerating Positive Energy Districts?
