LIFE ENTRACK Project Coordination Meeting

Last week, we gathered in Vic, Spain, for our 6th in-person coordination meeting as we move toward project conclusion near the end of the year.

Over two days, we took stock of the ongoing work across our local Municipal-Rural Partnership meetings, national and European Communities of Practice, and the co-design processes underway in the Spanish, Greek, Italian, and Portuguese pilot areas, covering topics such as energy poverty diagnosis, inclusive hashtag#RECs, hashtag#OSS, and funding schemes.

A highlight of the meeting was a technical visit to Ajuntament de Sant Pere de Torellóó, hosted by our partners at Ecoserveis Cultura Energètica. We explored a pioneering biomass district heating system fed by local forest biomass.

We also had the pleasure of learning about hashtag#COSPES, a citizen-led Renewable Energy Cooperative created to accelerate Sant Pere de Torelló's energy transition, promoting a sustainable energy model rooted in local resources, energy efficiency and renewables.
