João Pedro Gouveia, Katherine Mahoney and Pedro Palma participated in the conference "Making Decarbonisation Fair" - the Third ENGAGER International Conference, held online on 1-4 March, 2021. This event was co-organised with the Fuel Poverty Research Network (FPRN), Defesa do Consumidor (DECO) and The Centre for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE). Katherine Mahoney and Pedro Palma presented their Ph.D researches titled respectively "Challenges and opportunities in the Portuguese energy transition-the evidence so far" and "Mitigating energy poverty vulnerability in future paradigms", in the Panel 1. Energy poverty research in Portugal of Plenary 1. Energy poverty in Portugal – policies and lessons for other countries. Ricardo Barbosa, a colaborator of our lab, also participated in the session, with the presentation "Energy poverty and social housing – the ARCAS project". João Pedro Gouveia was the chair of the session.
