This report (available in Portuguese) is the first of a three-report series developed for the Telheiras/Lumiar Renewable Energy Community (CERT/L) within the European Energy Communities Facility. It provides an ex-post assessment of the community’s real energy and operational performance between the start of electricity sharing on 21 June 2025 and 30 June 2026, using measured photovoltaic generation and 15-minute smart-meter data from community members. The work builds on a Master’s thesis developed at NOVA-FCT. Over the analysed period, CERT/L grew from one 7.15 kWp photovoltaic system and 16 active members to two systems totalling 32.89 kWp and 70 active members, producing approximately 34 MWh of renewable electricity. The analysis examines photovoltaic generation, self-consumption, energy sharing, self-sufficiency, temporal matching between generation and demand, and consumption profiles across residential, commercial, service and public-sector participants. The results highlight the importance of participant diversity and high-resolution energy data for maximising the local use of renewable electricity, with the community achieving very high utilisation of the available solar generation while retaining substantial demand for further renewable supply.
