Pedro Palma was interviewed for the magazine "Edifícios e Energia", to present and discuss the LOCATEE project.
The main focus was the Energy Poverty Monitoring System, an innovative local energy poverty detection tool that identifies the most vulnerable neighbourhoods and buildings in three european pilot municipalities, including the portuguese pilot Torres Vedras.
Pedro spoke about the importance of providing local government with tools to detect energy poverty and involving different stakeholders in the decision making process, towards more effective policymaking at the local level.
Challenges and opportunities were also discussed, highlighting the next steps of the project, namely tool dissemination across a network of european municipalities.
