The world faces pollution, a lack of natural resources, and climate change, which then affects all kinds of natural communities and ecosystems. Action is needed on many fronts; both energy and the energy transition are the answer to solving most of the problems.

Energy is also the main topic at the COP27 meetings, so we asked three experts for their opinion: Filipa Ricciardi, Sunseap - APAC at EDPR; João Pedro Gouveia, a researcher at CENSE; and Gabriel Nebreda, from EDP Spain.
