The 2022-2023 Energy Savings Plan presents measures that may already have positive results a year from now. This is at least the belief of João Pedro Gouveia, an environmental researcher at the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

In a conversation with journalist Ana Sofia Freitas, João Pedro Gouveia stressed that the only doubt he has is about the recommendation of remote working advantages for overall buildings' energy savings. As for the plan, João Pedro Gouveia considers that it may be important even to apply for a longer period.
