The Support Program for More Sustainable Buildings 2023 aims to finance measures that promote rehabilitation, decarbonization, energy efficiency, water efficiency and the circular economy, contributing to improving the energy and environmental performance of buildings and to the said goals. Specifically, it is intended that the measures to be supported can lead, on average, to at least a 30% reduction in primary energy consumption in the intervened buildings.

In view of the results obtained in the second phase of the Support Program for More Sustainable Buildings, the main challenges of the Support Program for More Sustainable Buildings 2023 are in terms of the geographical diversification of investments, the implementation of measures in multi-family buildings and the implementation of passive measures (thermal rehabilitation of opaque and glazed enclosures). In the Support Program for More Sustainable Buildings 2023, a system of bonuses is implemented to respond to these challenges.
