PhD Candidate at NOVA University of Lisbon
Evandro is an energy engineer who graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB - Brazil) with a focus on photovoltaic system projects, electrical projects, and substation projects.
At the moment, he is a researcher at CENSE FCT-NOVA as a PhD candidate in Environment and Sustainability, acting on energy efficiency, energy poverty mitigation, renewable energy generation, and energy building performance.
Evandro is also an active volunteer for the local partnership of Telheiras - a local community-led network to promote a renewable energy community in this region of Lisbon, which was the study case of his MSc. dissertation regarding the reduction of energy poverty and enhancement of energy citizenship through these energy actions.
