The poster was presented at CIRED 2017 Poster Session and discussed the InSmart project's potential role in the low-carbon future and integrated frameworks for smart cities. The authors emphasized the importance of DSOs as data managers and market facilitators to enable smarter cities of the future, which will rely on DSOs' capacity to orchestrate diverse energy resources. The poster also identified measures to meet smart city sustainability targets, including public lighting using 100% LED technology, credit schemes for building renovation, bike lane infrastructure expansion, and decarbonization of the bus fleet. The InSmart project provided key inputs for the 2030 implementation plans.
