Inês Valente holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from NOVA-FCT. She started working as a researcher in 2022 and has experience in energy efficiency financing schemes, energy and thermal comfort vulnerability, and energy efficiency one-stop shops.
She is currently working on energy efficiency financing schemes at the national (Vale Eficiência) and local levels (Fundos Verdes) and on the European LIFE-funded HORIS project.
Her master's thesis covered the topics of energy poverty and thermal comfort among high school students, where the dual vulnerability to thermal discomfort (at home and school) was explored.
